In 2025, GMC partnered with FOX Sports to create a captivating interview-style editorial feature campaign that capitalized on two key moments during the Football season. This multi-platform, multi-property GMC campaign was integrated into the FOX Sports ecosystem seamlessly, aligning feature interviews with the culture of football fans and delivering engaging, scenic storytelling from the front seat of a GMC.

FEATURE #1: Cooper DeJean and Julian Edelman
FOX NFL Kickoff analyst Julian Edelman drove the GMC Sierra EV in a dual-platform feature interviewing Eagles CB Cooper DeJean. The NFL segment debuted during FOX NFL Sunday in Week 2 ahead of Eagles-Chiefs, highlighting DeJean’s Super Bowl-winning rookie season, while a CFB version aired in Week 4 before Iowa-Rutgers, spotlighting his University of Iowa roots.
A Custom Social First Edit was also released to maximize the campaign’s reach and amplify GMC’s brand message. This edit paired playful banter and authentic storytelling to explore the motivations behind both football stars.
FEATURE #2: Jahmyr Gibbs and Mark Ingram
FOX CFB analyst Mark Ingram drove the GMC Denali in a dual-platform interview with Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs. The NFL feature debuted during the FOX NFL Thanksgiving pregame ahead of Packers–Lions, highlighting playful conversation and the athletes’ friendship, while the CFB version aired ahead of Ohio State–Michigan, spotlighting Gibbs’ Alabama roots and standard of excellence.
